It’s Saturday, March 24, 2012 the evening before we leave
for the mock transfer in Knoxville, TN at the donation center. This is the weekend we find out if your
mother is able to carry you. We’re
anticipating confirmation on whether you come to us by embryo or some other
means. This is all in God’s hands and we
trust Him to provide. Our heart and home
are being prepared for your arrival.
Today your Mom sat in the rocking chair and prayed for you like she
frequently does. Your Dad found himself
just yesterday thinking about how to organize his counseling schedule so that
he can spend as much time with you as possible.
Family is very important in this household. Your brother, Devin asked if he had to change
your diapers and Mom answered, “Of course!”
Your father said he would help too.
Did you know that your father has never changed a poopie diaper in his
44 years of life? That is amazing isn’t
it! The home study has been completed
just in time for the first appointment and yes we passed. This time around your Mom is going to try to
make your baby food instead of the store bought jars like Devin was served. Devin, liked a lot of different foods at
first, but never spinach. We both
believe in the saying “You eat to live, not live to eat”. Better get off to bed because tomorrow is a
long drive. Good night. Love, Mom and Dad
